Returns & Exchanges

The New York Public Library Shop is committed to your satisfaction; if you are not entirely pleased with your purchase, we accept returns and exchanges of most items within 30 days of receipt. All returned merchandise must be in its original condition and packaging to qualify for a full refund.

Return Process

  Initiate Your Return

  Contact our customer service team via email with your order number and the reason for the return to receive a Return Authorization number.

  Prepare Your Package

  Securely pack the items in their original box or a sturdy mailer, ensuring you include a copy of the original packing slip or the Return Authorization note.

• 3.
  Ship the Item

  Affix the provided shipping label or address the package to our returns department and drop it off at your nearest authorized carrier location.

• 4.
  Receive Your Refund

  Once your return is received and inspected, we will process a refund to your original payment method within 7 to 10 business days.
